Why should I take this course?
This multi skills course from NHS Health Education England will help practitioners understand the nature of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and how it is diagnosed and treated. It highlights the need for empathy during the first assessment interview and in subsequent therapy. It also describes specific theory-based therapy components that have been shown to be effective.
Are the programs accredited for continuous professional development (CPD) or continuing medical education (CME)?
